Possible Album Photos

These are possible images we had taken of the artists which would be ideal for the front cover of the album. This has been inspired by Ariana Grande in terms of her clothing and positions. Having the star image at the front of he album is what the audience needs to see in order to identify it is an album from that particular artist. It is what is typically seen on an album.

These images will need some changes to them and i will make these changes using Photoshop. I think the second and fifth picture down would be great as an album cover as it is a close up image of the artist with a good background and an excellent camera angle.

The song me and my group chose was a song by Ariana Grande called 'Santa tell me' which is from a pop genre. Pop songs are mainly aimed at teenagers and young adults- male and female. However songs which are sung by Ariana Grande tend to usually be aimed at young girls as she sings girly, colourful songs which would appeal to females as opposed to males.

This song- Santa tell me is also a girly, christmassy song which is aimed at young teenage girls. The lyrics states that on Christmas day, her boyfriend left her- and many females can relate to that therefore the target audience for this song is for young females. 

The use of a homely Christmas tree and Ariana Grande grande singing with her female friends aims the song at females as this is what females like to see in a musi video and not what males like to see commonly in music videos
